Likely, he didn't say he subbed anything. I wonder what the difference in time would be between running and D/U's. Running would take longer than D/U's.. but D/U's are more physically fatiguing on the arms and shoulders, possibly slowing down our time for the KB swings and Pull Ups.
Subbed DU's as well. Used 60# dumbbell. 35:42. Probably would have been faster if I had a pull-up bar that didn't turn. Was really working the finger pull-ups near the end there. Forearms are toast. 800m run would have taken me way longer.
