New Years Resolutions, Or goals for the New Year. Lets have em!

I'll go first

Mike:

1.Free standing handstand  push up.

2. 225 # Clean

3. 200# Jerk

4. 400# Dead

5. 100 D/U's

6. 40 Pull Ups

7. Snatch 150

8. Back Squat 350

9. Be a better trainer

10. Be Gooder

  1. I'd like to get a pull up from a standing position- close now... and then move on to conquer the kip and the dead- hang. I would also like to improve my numbers, etc. Another biggie would be the ongoing quest for a "healthier" but sustainable diet, drop a final 10ish lbs and see where my body fat % is at. I was also considering doing the Subaru Try a Tri this summer at Guelph Lake. I'd be happy to have a training buddy if anyone is interested. This year- kick a*s in general, and be gooder too!

    Be able to do DUs, ring dips, and handstand pushups (against the wall would be fine)

    Last years achieved goals:
    - Muscle Up
    - Double BW Deadlift
    - BW Clean and Jerk
    - 1 HSPU (Full ROM)
    - 200# Back Squat

    Goals for this year:
    1 300# Deadlift
    2 Bodyweight OHS
    3 Sub 4 Fran
    4 135# Bench Press
    5 155# Power Clean
    6 250# Back Squat
    7 40 Pull Ups
    8 135# Snatch
    9 Sub 1 hour 30 muscle ups for time
    10. Do Nasty Girls Rx'd

  7. Hmmm...sizeable goals guys!! Hard but definitely achieveable.
    For me, here are my CrossFit & Health goals for 2010:
    - 20 consecutive DUs
    - Deadlift 200#
    - Ring dip without a band
    - Eat less gluten

    1. 100+ D/Us
    2. 400# Deadlift
    3. Deadhang Pull Ups
    4. 300# Back Squat
    5. Perfect the Clean
    6. Drop 20#/clean up diet/become a better athlete overall

  10. Hmmm. I am going to steal some other people's:
    1. Double BW DL
    2. 20 straight pull-ups (ie. kip gooder)
    3. Obviously make my lower back do what I want
    4. proper DU (without skips in between)
    5. Do a proper clean (I won't put a weight bc until I do them properly I don't know my real max, but for fun I want to beat 165#)
    6. over 200# on both front and back squats
    7. Just 1 triple clap push up, don't even mind if I hit my face after

  13. I would like to revise my goals by adding that I also aim for a PR in sleeping and will hold the day I meet Pukie (one day) in high regard as well.
